Yummy Pancakes

 

Today on the 12th of April 2022 room 10 made pancakes. After the first break my teacher ( Miss Naicker ) said that we are going to make pancakes. I was so excited and couldn’t wait to eat a delicious pancake. First we had to wait for Miss Joe to come and get the supplies. After a few minutes of waiting Miss Joe finally arrived and the whole class was very excited. Some boys ( Alvao, Alefaio, Finau and Boston ) decided to volunteer and help Miss Joe make the pancakes. I first did my work ( like the rest of the class. ) as we were all waiting for the pancakes to get ready. 

 

I was doing my work until Miss Joe asked the last row if they wanted pancakes with jam or butter. Amelia quickly got up to her seat and so I followed her. Then it was finally time for my row to have pancakes with butter or jam. (my row was the third row) The volunteers asked my row if we wanted it with jam or butter and I replied my jam because I didn’t know what else to say.

 

Then, they forgot to give it to me and Jessica. Me and Jessica put up our hands when they asked “did everyone have a pancake.” I got my pancake and it was kinda tiny but I still enjoyed it. I took the first bite and it was delicious! It was very hot, you could even feel it, if you were putting a paper towel underneath. It was so yummy and fresh I wanted another one because it was too thin, but we were only allowed to have one pancake each. 

 

After all, the pancakes were very soft and yummy.
